Saint Rose will host Bentley tonight at 7:00 pm
ALBANY - The College of Saint Rose women's volleyball team is back in action tonight. The Golden Knights are set to host Bentley University at 7:00 pm at the Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium. Saint Rose is off to a 4-1 start at home this year and currently sits in third place in the Northeast-10 Conference standings.

LAST MEETING (November 5, 2010)
Saint Rose knotted things 1-1, but host Bentley University used a balanced attack to take a 3-1 (18-25, 20-25, 23-25, 18-25) NE-10 victory over the Golden Knights last November 5 at the Dana Center. Three players reached double-figures in digs to lead the defensive unit for Saint Rose. Junior defensive specialist Laura Falkowitz paced the Golden Knights with 20 digs.

Meanwhile, senior outside hitter Sarah Kahrs and senior middle hitter Chelsea Tyler added 18 and 11 digs respectively. Tyler also dished out 25 assists.

Bentley had five players register at least five kills led by Andrea Farah and sophomore outside hitter Ashley Ahearn. Farah wound up with 15 kills, seven digs and a pair of aces, while Ahearn added 13 kills and six digs.

SCOUTING SAINT ROSE (10-5/5-1 NE-10)
The Golden Knights suffered their first NE-10  loss of the year via a 3-0 setback at the  hands of defending league champion New Haven on Tuesday. It also marked their first home loss of the 2011 campaign.

Saint Rose is hitting a collective .197, which ranks fourth in the conference, while holding their foes to a .142 hitting percentage.

Senior outside hitter Aubrey Bobo is second in the league in both hitting percentage (.354) and kills per-set (3.61). Meanwhile, Kahrs is second on the squad in kills (144) and digs (100). Freshman libero Katy Daniels has piloted the defensive unit thus far. Daniels leads the squad and stands second in the conference with 4.37 digs per-set (236 digs). She has also served up a team-high 20 aces. Sophomore middle hitter Alex Gagliano has been an imposing force up front. Gagliano is fourth in the NE-10 with 1.02 blocks per-set

SCOUTING BENTLEY (8-10/3-3 NE-10)
The Falcons have dropped five in a row, four of which came in non-league action. Bentley returns to league play tonight after playing three matches in Georgia and South Carolina last weekend.

Nine student-athletes listed on the roster are competing in their rookie season for the Falcons. Freshman outside hitter Kelsey Buckner has been pivotal on the attack. Buckner is currently fourth in the conference in kills (211) and kills per-set (3.30). Defensively, freshman libero Lauren Colasanti has come up with team-highs of 242 digs and 21 aces.
