ALBANY – The College of Saint Rose retained its position atop the most recent
NSCAA/HendrickCars.com NCAA Division II Poll that was released earlier today.
Saint Rose, which was listed #3 in the preseason poll, is coming off of Saturday's 1-0 victory against visiting Northeast-10 Conference rival American International. The Golden Knights (8-0/6-0 NE-10) will aim to extend their unbeaten stretch with today's 5:30 pm non-league home match versus Queens College at Sullivan Field at the Plumeri Sports Complex.
Saint Rose currently leads the nation (NCAA Division II) in goal scoring average and stands seventh in team goals-against-average. The Golden Knights are generating an average of 4.0 goals per-game, while recording a 0.25 GAA on the strength of six shutouts throughout their eight contests.

Christina Cuffari, junior forward Gianna D'Errico, freshman midfielder
Sydney Bond, and junior forward Nicola D'Errico lead a balanced attack that features 15 players who have figured in the team's scoring parade.
Cuffari has produced 13 points behind four goals and a league-leading five assists, while Gianna D'Errico and Bond each have 12 points via five goals and a pair of assists. Nicola D'Errico also has five goals, including a team-best three game-winners, to go along with one helper for 11 points. Junior midfielder

Meagan McKinney, lead a group that has yielded a mere two goals and 17 corner kicks. Senior keeper
Deanna Esposito has played all but 20 minutes between the posts and is 8-0 with five clean sheets to her credit.
Following today, Saint Rose returns to league action Saturday with a 1:00 pm date at Stonehill College in Easton, MA.
