ALBANY – The College of Saint Rose put 12 players in the scoring column that helped yield 37 bench points throughout an 86-49 Northeast-10 Conference victory against visiting Adelphi tonight at the Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium. The Golden Knights (12-11/11-7 NE-10) shot a season-high 53.0 percent (35-for-66) from the floor and outrebounded the Panthers by a 47-29 margin en route to their sixth straight home win.
Senior guard
Elizabeth Buckley scored 18 points and handed out three assists throughout 20 minutes of playing time, while sophomore guard
Ashley Rath went 3-for-3 from beyond the arc to finish with 15 points in 19 minutes of action. Furthermore, sophomore forward
Alison McGrath had career highs of 12 points and six rebounds during 12 minutes of reserve duty.
The Golden Knights, who have now won seven of their last nine, left little doubt about the eventual outcome by virtue of a 22-5 run at the 16:17 mark of the first half that transformed an 8-4 lead into a 30-9 advantage with 8:31 to go until the break. Buckley finished off a feed from junior forward

Jenna Hughes capped it with a 3-pointer. Saint Rose led by no fewer than 20 points the rest of the way.
Junior forward Ashley Caiafa finished with 19 points to lead the Panthers (3-20/0-18 NE-10), while freshman forward Kara Tancredi and sophomore guard Erika Cottle added nine and seven points respectively.
Looking ahead, both teams return to league action Saturday. The Golden Knights head to Pleasantville for a 1:30 pm meeting with Pace University, while Adelphi hosts Assumption for a 1:00 pm tip-off on Long Island.
