ALBANY – The College of Saint Rose has the highest representation with five student-athletes listed on the 2010 NSCAA/Performance Subaru NCAA Division II All-America Team. This marks the second consecutive year the Golden Knights have appeared more than any other squad on this team. Furthermore, two Saint Rose players are among only four listed who have been honored for the third time in their careers.

Katie Whiting are making their third appearance. Deck was a first-team selection in 2009 and 2008 as well, while Whiting earned first-team accolades a year after being chosen a third-team All-American as a sophomore in 2008.

Deanna Esposito and junior midfielder
Christina Cuffari who have both been named third-team All-America recipients.
The aforementioned quintet will be honored at the annual All-America Luncheon, to be held at the Hilton Baltimore Hotel on Saturday, January 15; as part of the 2011 NSCAA Convention.
The 2010 Northeast-10 Conference and Daktronics East Region Player of the Year, Deck had seven goals and 10 assists on the season. She furthermore started every match, a school record 96 contests, throughout her career; during which she tied the school standard with 28 assists. Whiting, the NE-10 Defensive Player of the Year, and Guerin anchored a back line that shut out 17 of 25 opponents and posted a collective 0.32 goals-against-average, which ranks second in the nation (Division II) according to the most recent NCAA statistical report.
Esposito led the country with a 0.22 GAA and a 0.924 save percentage, and furthermore set a school record with 23 victories on the year. Cuffari produced a team-leading 36 points with 10 goals and a single-season school record 15 helpers.
Overall, Saint Rose (23-1-1) had yet another remarkable campaign. The Golden Knights spent the final three-fourths of the season ranked #1 in the country and made their third consecutive NCAA Tournament national semifinal appearance. They also won their fourth straight NE-10 Tournament championship; and set school records for points (236), goals (82), assists (72), and fewest goals allowed (8).
