NEW HAVEN, CT – The College of Saint Rose is off to a 10-0 start for the second time in four years following tonight's 1-0 Northeast-10 Conference victory at Southern Connecticut State. In the process, the Golden Knights (10-0/7-0 NE-10) registered their fourth consecutive shutout and bolstered their scoring differential to a superlative 21-3 margin on the year.

Kelly Guerin provided the difference in the 54th minute for the Golden Knights (9-0/7-0 NE-10) who are ranked #3 in the
NSCAA/Adidas Division II Poll for the fourth consecutive week. Guerin knocked home a rebound that went into the top-right corner for the game's lone strike.
The Golden Knights generated an 11-2 shot advantage, including 5-0 in the first half, and also produced six corner kicks while yielding only a pair to Southern Connecticut State (6-4/3-4 NE-10), which had won four of its last five entering tonight.

Deanna Esposito did not need to make of save as both Owls' threats were off target. Meanwhile, junior Katie DiDio was forced to come up with six stops, three in each half, to keep Southern Connecticut State in the match.
