Saint Rose (2-3/1-2 NE-10) freshman guard Shea Bromirski put the Golden Knights in front 45-41 following a pair of free throws with just over 10 minutes remaining. The Setters (3-2/2-1 NE-10) scored nine straight points to go up five, 50-45, but junior guard Jermaine Clark answered with a 3-pointer and a jumper to tie the game for the fifth time in the contest 50-50.
