MANCHESTER, NH – The College of Saint Rose women's volleyball team rebounded from a five-set loss less than 24-hours ago by handing Saint Anselm a 3-0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-13) setback in a Northeast-10 Conference volleyball match in Manchester this afternoon.
The Golden Knights (9-5/4-2 NE-10), who held the Hawks winless in league play with the victory, hit .304 in the match after pounding out 29 kills with only eight errors in 69 attempts. Freshman outside hitter
Marilyn Glamack led a balanced attack with 10 kills. Freshman middle hitter
Chelsea Tyler added five kills, while sophomore outside hitter

Theresa Staulo dished out 23 assists to go with four digs.
Freshman outside hitter Charlotte Tencza paced Saint Anselm (2-9/0-5 NE-10) with 10 kills. Freshman setter Rachel Flaherty hit .583 with seven kills on 12 attempts without an error and also passed out 16 assists.
Saint Rose will spend the next eight days preparing for only its second home match of the 2008 campaign next Sunday when the Golden Knights take on Pace University at 1:00 pm at the Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium. Meanwhile, the Hawks return to action tomorrow when they host Le Moyne in an 11:00 am NE-10 tilt.
