GENERAL: Team captain...Transferred from nearby Hudson Valley Community College two years ago…Is again expected to be used in the back end of the bullpen…Mentioned that his father is a person who has had a great deal of influence on him…Said that David Wright is the athlete he most admires…Favorite movie is “The Sandlot”…Favorite food is his mother’s macaroni and cheese…Favorite musician is Biggie Smalls…Has a sister who plays softball at HVCC…Best sports moment to date was coming on and getting out of a bases loaded, no out jam in a state high school championship game…Aspires to obtain his master’s and become a teacher after completing his undergraduate studies at Saint Rose.

AS A JUNIOR: Made nine starts and had seven appearances out of the bullpen…Recorded 42 strikeouts throughout a team-leading 71.1 innings of work…Scattered just four hits and allowed two runs in 8.1 innings of work during his Saint Rose debut, a no decision outing in a 3-2, 11 inning setback at Francis Marion (2/10/13)…Was subsequently named to the NE-10 weekly honor (2/18/13)…Did not allow an earned run and fanned eight over the distance to pick up the victory in a 2-1 win versus New Haven (4/21/13)…Fanned six and surrendered three earned runs on four hits during 7.2 innings of work in a 5-4 setback to Southern New Hampshire (3/23/13)…Came out of the bullpen to toss 3.0 innings of one-hit, shutout ball in an eventual 4-3 setback at Assumption (4/10/13).

AT HVCC: Made 11 appearances and posted a 2.57 ERA throughout 14.0 innings of work as a freshman in the spring of 2010…Recorded 18 strikeouts and walked just six batters…Went 3-2 with a 4.45 ERA the following spring when he struck out 33 batters during 32.1 innings of action that covered 15 appearances.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was an All-League, All City and All-Area selection at Tamarac…Team captain…Earned the Coaches Award for baseball and the Most Improved Award for basketball…Also played golf in addition to basketball and baseball.
