GENERAL: Team captain…Will once again see the majority of time behind the plate…Said Michael Jordan and Carmelo Anthony are the athletes he admires the most…Mentioned that his parents are the people who have had the greatest influence on him…Favorite movie is “Coach Carter”…Favorite food is pizza and his favorite musician is Lil Wayne…Hobbies include playing basketball…Has a brother who played soccer at SUNY Potsdam…Aspires to coach in college and become a teacher following his graduation from Saint Rose…Added that his best sports moment to date was hitting a walk-off home run as a sophomore at Lowville Academy.

AS A JUNIOR: Finished third on the team with a .261 (41-for-157) batting average…One of just three players on the team to start 42 games…Drove in 19 runs and scored 15 more …Stole five bases…Had a team-leading six multi RBI games to go along with 10 multi-hit games…Went 3-for-5 with three RBI and a run scored 9-6 setback to Southern Connecticut State (4/14/12)…Finished 2-for-3 and drove in a pair of runs during a 4-3 victory versus Wilmington (3/7/12) in the second half of a doubleheader at the Palm Challenge…Wound up 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI during a 5-4 loss to Saint Michael’s (4/6/12)…Finished 2-for4 and drove in a run in a 9-4 setback to Southern Connecticut State (4/15/12)…Strung together a seven game hit streak from 4/7/12 to 4/15/12…Batted .379 (11-for-29) with four RBI during that span.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Appeared in 30 games and started 23 behind the plate…Hit .262 (22-for-84) with 12 runs scored and 11 RBI…Belted five doubles…Went 3-for-5 with an RBI in a 16-7 setback at Assumption (4/17/11)…Finished 2-for-4 and knocked in three runs during a 17-7 loss at Stonehill (5/6/11)…Drove in a pair of runs in a 7-1 victory versus Bloomfield (3/6/11)…Named to the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the spring semester in recognition of academic excellence.

AS A FRESHMAN: Appeared in 10 games and made three starts…Batted .313 (5-for-16) with five RBI and a pair of runs scored…Also had a stolen base…Went 2-for-3 with three RBI in a win versus Saint Michael’s (4/26/10).

HIGH SCHOOL: Owns the all-time hits record at Lowville…Was an All-State pick as a senior for the Red Raiders…Three-time “All-North” selection…Chosen a 2009 Mohawk Valley All-Regional All-Star by the Utica Observer Dispatch…Named to the section III class “B” All-Tournament Team as a junior and senior…Was furthermore an “All North” pick in soccer in each of his last two years…Team captain for the baseball, basketball and soccer squads…Member of the National Honor Society…Played baseball for Dan Myers…Comes out of the North Country Athletics club program.
