Jessup Pierce

Jessup Pierce was named the Assistant Athletic Director for Operations in September of 2019. His primary responsibilities include scheduling the College’s facilities for intercollegiate practices and home contests, and internal group usage and external rentals. He also serves as the game-day manager for all intercollegiate home competitions, including coordinating event staff and the game-day environment, and supervises the housekeeping and maintenance needs of the Events and Athletics Center and the Plumeri Sports Complex.

As an Assistant AD, Pierce serves on the institution’s athletics management team and acts as the sport supervisor to the baseball, golf, cross country, and track and field programs.

Pierce was hired as the assistant athletic trainer for The College of Saint Rose in December of 2006. Pierce, as a member of the Saint Rose Athletic Training staff, helped manage the treatment and prevention of injuries for the College's 330 student-athletes and 19 intercollegiate programs.  Pierce was the primary point of contact for any Athletic Training communications or needs regarding Saint Rose volleyball, men’s basketball, and baseball.

Prior to Saint Rose, Pierce worked at nearby Guilderland High School as the Head Athletic Trainer.  A 2003 graduate of Cedarville University (OH) with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training, Pierce earned the Training Room Scholarship, Faculty Scholarship and was a four-year member of the Dean’s List.
 
Pierce currently resides in Delmar, N.Y., with his wife, Lauren, and their three children.
