College of Saint Rose Athletics

GENERAL: Is looked upon to again contribute in both backstroke and freestyle events…Said that his parents are the people who have had the greatest influence on him…Listed Tiger Woods as the athlete he most admires and mentioned Nicholas Cage as his favorite actor…His father also swam in college…Enjoys sailing, hiking, snowboarding, camping and scuba diving…Works at a golf course during the summer months…Said his best sports moment to date was winning the South Sectionals in his senior season of high school.

AS A JUNIOR: Competed in six different events during the course of the year…Recorded six, top-five performances…Took home ninth place with a season-best time of 2:05.94 in the 200-yard backstroke at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships (1/31/13-2-2/13)…Also finished 11th behind a 58.56 clocking in the 100 backstroke at that meet…Finished third in the 200 back at Le Moyne (11/17/12) with a time of 2:09.33…Had a pair of fifth place performances versus Adelphi (1/19/13) when he went 54.62 in the 100 free and hit the wall in 1:58.57 in the 200.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Again provided depth for Saint Rose in the freestyle and backstroke events…Best finishes were a pair of third place times, both against Saint Michael’s (1/14/12)…Swam the 200 freestyle and the 200 backstroke with times of 1:57.63 and 2:11.85 respectively.

AS A FRESHMAN: Provided depth to the Golden Knights in both the freestyle and backstroke events…Earned his first collegiate individual win against Skidmore (11/13/10) when he won the 100 backstroke in a time of 1:01.92.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was four-year member of the varsity squad at Boston College HS…Earned academic honors in both geometry and pre-calculus.
