GENERAL: Is expected to contribute in the breaststroke and IM events…Is a part of the 200-yard medley and 400 medley school record-setting relay teams…Aspires to get his doctorate in pharmacy following his undergraduate career at Saint Rose…Favorite movies are the Lord of the Rings trilogy and the Harry Potter series…Said that Mike Tyson is the athlete he most admires…Favorite musical group is the Red Hot Chili Peppers…Has a sister who graduated from Saint Rose two years ago…Works as a youth instructor during the summer.

AS A JUNIOR: Had another outstanding season…Competed in eight different events during the year…Had 16 top-five performances…Hit the wall in 59.68 to take fifth in the 100 yard breaststroke at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships (1/31/13-2/2/13)…Was also sixth in the 200 breast at that meet behind a 2:13.21 clocking and took 11th in the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:01.07…Won the 100 breast in 1:05.20, was fifth in the 200 breast in 2:26.61 and finished sixth in the 50 free with a time of 23.83 at Southern Connecticut State (10/26/12)…Also won the 100 breast and took second in the 200 versus Bentley (1/19/13) with respective times of 1:02.75 and 2:22.89.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Enjoyed a breakout season for Saint Rose…Part of the winning 400 medley and the second place 200 free relay squads at the NE-10 Championships (2/2/12-2/4/12)…The latter finished in a time of 1:26.33 while the former went a school record 3:29.93…Was also part of the school record 200 medley relay quartet that swam a third place time of 1:36.46 at that meet…He furthermore finished second in the 100 breast with his first sub-one minute time of the year at 59.31…Had six event wins and 24 top-three finishes on the season…Three of his individual event victories came in the 100 breast, including a 1:02.17 performance at the Hartwick Quad (10/22/11)…Also won the event versus Le Moyne (11/19/11) and at Bentley (1/15/12) with times of 1:01.00 and 1:02.90 respectively…Also swam a winning 200 breast time of 2:20.98 versus Le Moyne…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the fall semester in recognition of academic excellence.

AS A FRESHMAN: A key contributor to the Golden Knights in 2010-11…Helped to set a Saint Rose record in the 400-medley relay at the Metropolitan Conference Championships (2/18-20/11) with a time of 3:32.64…Earned 10, first-place individual finishes…Had one of the top freshman showings at the NE-10 Championships (2/4-6/11) where he placed third in the 200 breast with a season best clocking of 2:12.83…Also finished fourth in the 100 breast and sixth in the 200 IM with personal best times of 1:00.27 and 2:02.56 respectively…Was chosen the NE-10 Rookie of the Week (1/11/11) after touching the wall in the 50 breast with a time of 28.03 at the Florida International Invitational (1/8/11)…Was later named to the NE-10 weekly honor roll (1/25/11) after winning the 100 and 200 breaststrokes behind 1:01.46 and 2:20.43 performances versus Adelphi (1/22/11).

HIGH SCHOOL: Was named an All-American following the 2008-09 and 2009-10 seasons…Part of the 2009 NYS Champions in the 200 medley relay, setting a NYS Championship Meet record in the process…Helped lead New Paltz to the 2008 section IX football championship…Was bestowed with the John Ford Award in recognition of overall athletic excellence.
