HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year varsity starter at La Salle…Team captain…Three-time Big Ten All-Star, including a first-team selection as a senior and junior...Twice named a Troy Record first-team All-Area pick…2014 Sal Forino Memorial Award recipient for outstanding achievement in baseball…2014 Perfect Game Northeast Region Honorable Mention pick...Guided the team to the Big Ten championship as a junior...Played summer ball for George Rogers and the South Troy Dodgers, where he recorded 30 strikeouts in 30.0 innings and a 1.87 ERA in 2013...Improved those numbers in 2014 with a 3-0 record, a 1.00 ERA, and 19 strikeouts under Kevin Rogers...Ranked in the top-ten in his class academically and was a member of the National Honor Society…Also played basketball.
