GENERAL: Played previously at Schenectady County CC and Herkimer County CC…Also played basketball at the former…Brother of former Saint Rose right-hander Kody Shaw (’18)…Said that his parents are the people who have had the greatest influence on him because of their work ethic and dedication…Hobbies include playing darts and softball…His favorite movie is Happy Gilmore and his favorite food is chicken wings…Mentioned that Jason Williams is the athlete he most admires…Said defeating nationally top-ranked Herkimer during his time at SCCC in the Region 3 Final Four has been his best sports moment to date.
 
AS A JUNIOR: Made six starts and one relief appearance…Fanned 24 batters throughout 33.2 innings of work…Recorded five strikeouts without issuing a walk throughout 8.0 innings of work in a 4-2 setback at Northeast-10 Conference rival Merrimack (4/7/18)…Allowed just a run on four hits in 7.0 innings to pick up the win in a 15-4 league victory at Pace (4/22/18)…In his previous start, gave up just a run on five hits in 7.0 innings of a no-decision outing during a 6-5 victory versus NE10 rival Adelphi (4/14/18)…Named to the NE10 Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll for the spring semester.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Also wrestled and played football at Fonda-Fultonville.
