Biography

GENERAL: Favorite movies are “The Notebook” and “Beauty and the Beast”…Said her family has been her greatest influence…Plans to teach and coach softball following her graduation from Saint Rose…Enjoys cooking and baking…Favorite foods are chicken parm, pasta and steak…Enjoys country music…Listed Derek Jeter as the athlete she admires most…Her best sports moments were when she pitched her first perfect game in May of 2011, and catching the first pitch of last year’s cancer awareness game thrown by her father, a prostate cancer survivor …Dean’s List student…Enjoys coaching the 16U Mid-Hudson Tigers travel softball team…Plans to teach math and coach softball after obtaining her master’s degree.
 
AS A JUNIOR (2015): Started 17 games in the circle, while appearing in 21…Accumulated a 7-10 record and one save after fanning one and giving up just one hit en route to a 3-1 win over AIC (4/12)…Registered a 2.98 ERA after allowing 124 hits and 67 runs, 45 of them earned, in 108.0 complete innings…Named to the Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll on 3/2 and 3/9…Threw 41.0 innings throughout seven contests at the NTC Spring Games, leaving Clermont with a 4-3 mark…Fanned a career-high 10 batters in her one-hit shutout against Concordia (3/2)…Threw three no-earned-run games, and 12 complete contests…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll in recognition of academic excellence for both the fall and spring semesters.
 
AS A SOPHOMORE (2014): Made 16 starts in 21 appearances in the circle, collecting a 5-11 record…Led the team in the circle with 115.1 innings pitched…Gave up 131 hits and 67 runs, and struck out 52 batters…Collected a 3.03 ERA…Fanned a career-high six batters in the win over USciences (3/1)…Threw three complete shutout games, the first in the season opener with USciences (3/1), another in an 11-0 win over Dominican (3/4), and the final at Pace (3/29)…Struck out seven and allowed just three hits through 9.0 complete innings for wins over USciences (3/1) and Concordia (3/2) in the opening weekend of the season to collect Northeast-10 Conference Pitcher of the Week (3/3)…Threw a career-high 9.1 innings at Pace (4/10)…Recorded her final win of the season in a 5-4 victory over AIC (4/22), giving up just one run…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll in recognition of academic excellence. 
 
AS A FRESHMAN (2013): Made 29 appearances, ninth most in the NE-10 Conference, with 14 starts in the circle…Also made two starts in the lineup…Led the team with a 3.22 ERA, as well as nine complete games…Pitched a team-high 130.1 innings…Helped earn a 5-2 victory versus Wilmington (3/6) with a complete game, five strikeout performance…Earned both victories in a doubleheader sweep at Pace (3/30) with a combined 5.2 innings pitched…Struck out four in 5.1 innings to pick up the win versus Assumption (4/3)…Posted a complete game win with five strikeouts and two earned runs at Saint Michael’s (4/7)…Ended the season with three straight victories…Notched a complete game shutout at American International (4/24) with four strikeouts…Followed up with another complete game shutout behind two strikeouts versus Adelphi (4/27)…Ended the season against Adelphi (4/28) with a complete game, 2-1 victory...Named to the NE-10 Conference Weekly Honor Roll (4/29)…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll in recognition of academic excellence.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a three-time section II Patroon Conference All-Star selection…Named team MVP three times…2010 Outstanding Underclassman in the Patroon Conference…Named the NFCA Eastern Region Player of the Week (5/16/11)…NYSPHSAA Scholar-Athlete award winner…Frederick Douglass & Susan B. Anthony Award recipient…Was the student council secretary as well as a member of S.A.D.D. and the Challenge Club.
