GENERAL: Owns the school record in the 100-yard backstroke…Is also part of the school record holding 200 and 400 medley relay teams…Has a cousin, Jack Walsh, who swam at Coast Guard (’07)…Said her best sports moment was qualifying for the New York State meet at Valley Central…Enjoys art…Said her parents are the people who have had the greatest impact on her life…Listed U.S. Olympic swimmer Natalie Coughlin as the athlete she admires most…Comes out of the Viking Aquatic Club.

AS A JUNIOR: Was the primary backstroker and sprint freestyle swimmer for the Golden Knights…Her 13, top-five finishes on the season were highlighted by a trio of wins in the 100-yard backstroke…Won the event in back-to-back meets against Utica (11/6/10) and at Skidmore (11/13/10) with times of 1:03.84 and 1:03.43 respectively…Also finished first in the 100 back at Saint Michael’s (1/21/11) behind a 1:04.18 performance…Swam a season best 1:00.83 at the Metropolitan Conference Championships (2/18-20/11) to take home ninth place…Named to the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters in recognition of academic excellence.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Competed in eight individual events…Had 15, top-five finishes including a pair of first place performances…Won the 200-yard backstroke at Bentley (1/17/10) with a time of 2:13.65…She won the 100 back in 1:03.06 the previous day against Saint Michael’s (1/16/10)…Had her two best times of the season in the 100 back at the Metro Championships (2/19-21/10) where in a preliminary heat, she swam a school record 59.54, before taking third in the meet with a finals time of 59.68…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

AS A FRESHMAN: Swam the lead leg for the school record setting 200 and 400 medley relay squads…Both times in the 200 (1:52.05) and 400 (4:03.44) were established on the same day at the Metropolitan Championships (2/21/09)…Registered a school record time in a preliminary heat the previous day behind a 1:00.39 clocking and finished sixth overall in that event…Put up a season-best time of 2:13.11 in the 200 backstroke at Metros…Was third in the 100 backstroke at the NE-10 Championships (12/5/08) after hitting the wall in 2:18.51…Recorded eight, first-place performances throughout the year…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: Owns part of the school record in the 200 medley relay…Three-time section IX champion…Also captured three straight OCIAA Championships, including an undefeated dual meet slate in 2007…Team captain as a senior…Member of the Spanish, Science, Art and National Honor Societies.
