College of Saint Rose Athletics

GENERAL: Transferred from Dowling College three years ago…Granted a “red-shirt” during his true freshman year and thus still has one year of eligibility remaining…Will play a major role at the front end of the team’s point producers…Currently enrolled in the graduate program at Saint Rose…Favorite movie is “Old School”…Said his family has influenced him the most throughout his lifetime…Aspires to become a CPA.

AS A JUNIOR: Consistently among the top-three Saint Rose performers throughout the season…Put up the fastest 8k time of his career on two occasions…Finished 28th at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships (11/7/10) in 26:14.70…Stopped the clock in the same time to place 37th at the Disney World Classic (10/9/10)…Recorded his best-ever performance at the NCAA East Regional (11/21/10) behind a 32:50 clocking to finish 32nd in a field of 181 participants…Completed the 5-mile course at the Golden Knights Joust (10/22/10) in 28:44…Earned a spot on the fall and spring NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Rolls in recognition of academic excellence.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Named to both the fall and spring NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Rolls…Competed in the last four events of the season…Was the top Saint Rose finisher at the NCAA East Regional (11/8/09)…Finished 35th among 180 entries with a 10k time of 33:41.4…Placed 52nd at the NE-10 Championships (10/25/09) behind a 27:28.0 clocking…Took eighth at Le Moyne (10/10/09) in a time of 30:28.

2008 AT DOWLING: Second-Team East Coast Conference (ECC) performer…Finished eighth overall at the ECC Championships (10/25/08) in a time of 28:43…Was the top Dowling finisher at the NCAA East Regional (11/9/08) after covering the 10k course in 34:38…Completed the 8k layout at the Iona Meet of Champs (9/20/08) in 29:56.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played soccer in addition to running cross country and track at West Islip…All-League, All-Division and MVP as a member of the cross country squad…Also an All-League performer for the track team…Owns the school record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and is part of the school record setting 4x1600 relay squad.
