GARDEN CITY, N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose softball team had a five-game winning streak ended today at Adelphi, with the Panthers taking 7-1 and 8-1 victories in a doubleheader that was relocated from Albany to Long Island due to weather.
Kelsey Higgins had an RBI single in game one that scored
Ellen Fuda.
Ciana Phillips and
Madison Chandler tallied hits as well in the opener.
Maddy Bland went 2-for-3 and
Nayana DeAmelia launched a solo home run in the day's second game.
Kelsey Higginsalso added a hit in the finale.
The Golden Knights turn around to face Pace tomorrow in another twin bill that was originally scheduled to be played at Haker Field. First pitch is scheduled for 12:00 pm in Pleasantville, N.Y.
