AUBURNDALE, FL- The College of Saint Rose softball team took a pair of losses at The Spring Games today.
The Golden Knights fell 7-2 in the morning's first game against Upper Iowa, followed by a 9-0 defeat to Grand Valley State in finale. The Golden Knights lineup was limited to just three total hits on the day between the two contests.
Freshman outfielder Kelsey Higgins provided the Golden Knights with their only runs of the opener, as she deposited a two-run home run in the seventh inning that scored Abby Behrikis.
Higgins has laced a team-high three home runs in the first six games of the Golden Knights' season, which ties her for the second-most homers in the Northeast-10 Conference.Â
Saint Rose hits the field for its final day at The Spring Games tomorrow with afternoon meetings set against Glenville State and Salem University.
