ALBANY, N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose scored a 24-1 victory in its season-opening matchup against Felician this afternoon at Sullivan Field. For Saint Rose, the 24-goal outburst set the program single-game record for most goals in a game.
Junior midfield
Katy McPeak tallied eight goals to lead the Golden Knights in the win, which also marks the most goals scored in one game by a Golden Knight.
Junior attack
Lauren Pendergast entered the record books as well, as her 10 points (three goals, seven assists)Â is the highest total in Saint Rose history.
Senior midfield
Daria Bock and sophomore attack
Grace Gardner also netted five goals apiece to aid the Saint Rose offense. Freshman
Kylee Payne and sophomores Emilie Robbie and
Carly Neville netted solo scores as well for the Golden Knights.
Saint Rose is back at home on Saturday, March 2 to face Molloy at 3:00 pm.
