ALBANY, N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose women's basketball team earned a 58-48 Northeast-10 Conference victory tonight against Adelphi in Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium.
The Golden Knights earned the win by holding the Panthers to 19-of-55 (34.5 percent) shooting throughout the night, which included just five total Adelphi points scored in both the first and third quarters.
Junior guard
Syrita Faraj shot 9-of-17 from the floor to led the Golden Knights with 18 points. Faraj also had six rebounds and two assists.
Sophomore guard
Payton Graber and junior forward
Maddisyn Mahoney finished with 13 and 12 points respectively. Graber grabbed four boards, while Mahoney hauled in five rebounds. The pair each recorded two steals.
Sophomore forward
Aniya McDonald-Perry registered nine points and a game-high 14 rebounds to help the Golden Knights tally a 42-25 advantage on the glass over the Panthers.
The Golden Knights close out their three-game homestand in Nolan Gym with a Senior Day versus New Haven on Saturday. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:30 pm, with the program's senior class set to be honored in a pregame ceremony.
