MANCHESTER, NH- The College of Saint Rose women's basketball team came back from a double-digit deficit to defeat Saint Anselm 57-51 tonight on the road.
After the Hawks made 8 of their first 12 shots to establish a lead that reached 11 in the early stages of the second quarter, the Golden Knights would respond with 18 of the final 25 points in the first half to take a one-point advantage into the break.
The slim Saint Rose advantage held steady into the fourth quarter before a 16-8 sprint put the Golden Knights up by as much as 10 late. Sophomore guard
Payton Graber scored eight of her team-high 16 points in the final frame to secure the victory.

Aniya McDonald-Perry joined Graber in double-figures with 13 and 12 points, respectively.

Maddisyn Mahoney each grabbed seven rebounds on the night. Graber and Mahoney had three steals apiece as well.Â
The Golden Knights swiped 10 steals in the win, marking the sixth time this season they have tallied 10 or more steals in a game. With a 31-23 rebounding advantage over Saint Anselm tonight, Saint Rose has now out-rebounded its opponents in 11 straight contests.
Next up, the Golden Knights are back home to host Northeast-10 Conference co-leader Bentley at 1:30 pm in Nolan Gymnasium.
