ALBANY, N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose stayed perfect inside Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium this season with a 71-53 victory over American International this afternoon. With today's win, the Golden Knights move to 10-0 at home in 2023-24.

Maddisyn Mahoney scored 20 points to headline a group of five Golden Knights in double-figures. Sophomore guard
Kaelah Carter finished with 14 points, while junior guard
Syrita Faraj, sophomore guard
Payton Graber, and sophomore forward
Aniya McDonald-Perry netted 11 points apiece.
McDonald-Perry was extremely active defensively, as she pulled down a career-high 18 boards and swiped three steals in the victory. McDonald-Perry helped Saint Rose outrebound the Yellow Jackets 40-21 on the afternoon. The Golden Knights also scored 16 more points in the paint than the visitors.
The Golden Knights went into halftime with a 20-point lead after shooting 18-of-26 (69.2 percent) from the field in the first two quarters.
Carter and Mahoney were the offensive catalysts early for the Saint Rose, as the pair combined for 21 points on a perfect 10-of-10 on field goals in the opening 20 minutes.
Yellow Jacket guard Briana Lee led all players with 26 points in the setback.
Looking ahead, the Golden Knights next travel to Manchester, NH to face Saint Anselm at 5:30 pm on Tuesday.
