WALTHAM, Mass.- The College of Saint Rose women's basketball team saw it's nine game winning streak come to an end today at Bentley, with the host Falcons taking the 57-32 Northeast-10 Conference victory this afternoon.
After the Golden Knights hit 50 percent (6-of-12) from the floor to take a 15-12 lead after the first quarter, Bentley would limit the Golden Knights to only 17 points on 7-of-40 shooting (17.5 percent) across the final 30 minutes.
Sophomore guard
Payton Graber led the Golden Knights with 11 points, while sophomore forward
Aniya McDonald-Perry grabbed a team-best 10 rebounds. Junior forward
Maddisyn Mahoney added nine points and six boards.
Bentley guard Ella Thompson netted 16 points to top a group of four Falcons in double-figures. The long ball was key for Bentley in the big win, as the Falcons converted 10-of-26 from deep.
Saint Rose will look to regroup with a home matchup versus Saint Anselm on Wednesday at 5:30 pm. Bentley will turn around to host Staten Island on Monday night.
