RINDGE, NH- The College of Saint Rose women's basketball team took a tough 55-52 defeat at Franklin Pierce this evening. The Ravens earned the tight victory by way of their three-point shooting, as nine of the 16 field goals tallied by Franklin Pierce came from behind the arc.

Payton Graber had 15 points and nine rebounds for Saint Rose, while junior forward
Maddisyn Mahoney scored 14 to go alongside six rebounds, four assists, and two blocks. Junior guard

Aniya McDonald-Perry pulled down seven boards each.
A slow start by both sides allowed the Golden Knights to take a 21-16 lead into halftime. The Ravens offense would wake up after the break, as Franklin Pierce to hit 6-of-10 long balls in the third quarter to put the hosts ahead.
Saint Rose managed to cut the deficit down to one possession in the final minutes after trailing by as much as 11 in the fourth, however Anna Badosa Soler went 7-for-7 from the line across the last 1:03 to seal the victory for FPU.
The Golden Knights return to Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium to face Southern Connecticut State at 1:30 pm.
