GARDEN CITY, N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose men's basketball lost on the road to Adelphi this afternoon, with Panthers taking an 81-71 win on Long Island.
Junior forward
Nuha Sagnia posted a career-high 22 points on 7-of-11 shooting for the Golden Knights in the defeat. Sagnia also topped Saint Rose with nine rebounds and two blocks.
Junior guard
Tristian Jeffries and freshman guard
Dante Weise contributed 12 points each. Jeffries hauled in nine rebounds and Weise provided six assists as well.
Adelphi was on top of every minute of today's contest, as the Panthers led by 10 at halftime before expanding the margin to as much as 17 in the second half. Adelphi guard Elijah Lewis finished with 17 points in the winning effort.
Looking ahead, Saint Rose comes home to face Southern New Hampshire at 7:30 pm on Tuesday. Â The Panther are home Tuesday night as well to host Assumption.
