ALBANY, N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose battled with Northeast-10 rival Pace for five sets today in Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium. After the Golden Knights claimed sets one and three to take a 2-1 lead, the Setters came back to win the fourth and fifth frames to earn the conference victory.

Madelyn Avery had 18 digs for the Golden Knights.

Karleigh Fripp tallied a team-high six blocks, while Moulder and Cavalcanti totaled five and four blocks, respectively.
Trailing 2-1 in the match, Pace posted a .444 team hitting percentage to take a fourth set that saw the two squads tie 12 times. The Setters would then fight off five different Saint Rose match-points before securing a 20-18 win in the deciding fifth frame.
Brielle Jones finished with 24 kills to lead all players. Karielys Melendez added 23 kills as well to the Setter attack.
Looking forward, the Golden Knights return to action next Saturday with a 1:00 pm NE10 matchup at Adelphi. Pace also faces Adelpi in its next match, as the Setters welcome the Panthers to Pleasantville at 7:00 pm on Tuesday.
