EAST STROUDSBURG, PA- The College of Saint Rose pushed tonight's matchup against Georgian Court to five sets after trailing 0-2, however the Golden Knights fell in the fifth frame by the score of 15-13 in the first night of play at the East Stroudsburg Tournament.
Senior outside hitter
Jessica Vargas recorded 18 kills, while senior middle blocker
Karleigh Fripp tallied 11 kills.Â
Junior middle blocker
Julia Cavalcanti and sophomore
Joanna Forrest totaled nine kills apiece for Saint Rose. Cavalcanti and Forrest respectively registered six and four blocks as well.
Vargas, junior libero
Katelyn Atchinson, and sophomore setter
Alandra Hasbrouck each finished with double-digit digs. Atchinson led Saint Rose with 14 digs, while Vargas and Hasbrouck had 12.

The Golden Knights finish the weekend competition tomorrow with meetings against East Stroudsburg and Chestnut Hill.
