ALBANY, N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose exploded for 12 runs in the late innings to win the final contest of this weekend's four-game Northeast-10 Conference series against Pace University. The Golden Knights did all their scoring in the sixth, seventh, and eighth frames to take the fourth game of the series after Pace won the first three matchups.
Senior designated hitter
Josh Myers reached base in all four at-bats in the game two win, as the lefty slugger finished 3-for-3 with a walk. Myers was one of six Golden Knights to both score a run and provide an RBI in the victory.
Saint Rose received two-RBI apiece from senior first basemen jack McDonald, sophomore second basemen
Jaden Fowler, and freshman left fielder
Liam Blesi, while McDonald, sophomore outfielder
James Ward, and freshman third basemen
Jack Griffin each crossed home plate twice.
Trailing 1-0 after a second inning homerun by Setters designated Mitchell McCabe, sophomore
Vince Venditti and Blesi each drove in runs as part of a six-run sixth inning for the Golden Knights.
The Saint Rose advantage expanded to 7-1 after Fowler drew a walk with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh before the Golden Knights utilized four run-scoring extra base hits to add five more in the eighth.
Ward, McDonald, and Fowler each knocked doubles that plated runs, while Ward added an RBI-triple to the eighth-inning rally.
Junior starter
Stephen Orlando earned the win after allowing just the solo homerun over 6.0 innings. Orlando danced around five hits and three walks while striking out four in the longest start of his season.
The Golden Knights were able to rebound to win the finale after falling 10-2 in the afternoon opener. Sophomore

Myles Littlejohn registered RBI in the game one setback.
Prior to the start of game one, Saint Rose recognized and honored 21 seniors as part of the program's senior day celebration.
