COLCHESTER, VT.- The College of Saint Rose scored eight of the first nine goals on the way to a 16-9 Northeast-10 Conference victory at Saint Michael's tonight.
Senior attack Eddie Baker led all players with six goals and four caused turnovers in a strong all-around effort.
Freshman midfield Jack Rice provided a game-high six assists as a catalyst in the Golden Knights attack. Senior attack Cam Smith netted three goals and sophomore midfield Jackson Spikereit and junior midfield Dan Fuller added two strikes apiece to the Saint Rose offense.
Freshman midfield Noah Gibson tallied a goal and two assists, while senior midfield Gabriel Nish recorded one goal and one helper. Sophomore midfield West Cateaux found the back of the net as well for the Golden Knights.
Looking ahead, Saint Rose returns to Sullivan Field for a Wednesday matchup with Southern New Hampshire. Saint Michael's is home again on Saturday to face #2 Adelphi.
