RINDGE, N.H.- The College of Saint Rose men's lacrosse team capped the 2023 season with a 13-12 defeat at Franklin Pierce this afternoon. The Ravens edged away in the close contest with a 4-1 scoring spurt between the third and fourth periods to earn the one-goal victory.

West Cateaux found the back of the net with solo goals as well.
After a back and forth three periods, Franklin Pierce rallied to take a 12-9 lead with 12 minutes remaining. Cateaux and Gibson scored 40 seconds apart to bring the margin to one with 10:15 left, but the Ravens got a goal back with four minutes remaining to pull ahead by two. Smith netted a strike with under two minutes left, however, the Golden Knights came up empty on their two final possessions to give Franklin Pierce the one-goal triumph.
Senior
Eoghan Sweeney won 21-of-28 in the faceoff spot. Raven goalkeeper Mike Masterpolo turned away 25 shots in net to stifle the Saint Rose attack.
The Golden Knights conclude the spring with a 5-12 overall record.
