LEESBURG, FL- The College of Saint Rose finished the afternoon with a 5-2 victory over Wheeling today at The Spring Games. The Golden Knights recovered to win their finale after dropping the first game of the day to Upper Iowa 3-0.

Madison Chandler each logged two hits and one run for the Golden Knights, while Chandler drove in two runs as well in the victory.
Saint Rose did all its scoring in the top of the fourth, as the first five Golden Knights reached in the frame to begin the rally. Baker started the stanza with a triple to right, and later scored alongside freshman third basemen
Maddy Bland on a single to center field from Chandler.Â

Sophia Schaub crossed home plate for Saint Rose in the big fourth inning.Â
Sophomore pitcher
Isabella Milazzo was the winner in the circle for the Golden Knights, as she allowed just six hits and one earned run across 7.0 innings to improve her record to 4-1 on the season.
The Golden Knights will continue at The Spring Games tomorrow with 11:15 am and 4:30 pm contests versus Clarion and Lake Erie.
