CLERMONT, FL- The College of Saint Rose fell twice today at The Spring Games. The Golden Knights were defeated by Clarion and Lake Erie by margins of 7-0 and 2-0.
Junior first basemen
Madison Chandler and freshman shortstop
Madi Puppolo recorded base hits for Saint Rose in game one.Â
Clarion starter Emma Hipps struck out 12 in 7.0 innings to earn the win.
Junior center fielder
Ciana Phillips, sophomore second basemen
Alexandra Deeter, and sophomore left fielder
Mattison Muller each logged hits in the Golden Knights finale.
Saint Rose struck out 11 times against Storm pitcher Grace Hammer, who took the victory in the circle with a complete-game performance.
The Golden Knights have one day left in Florida, which will feature 10:00 am and 12:30 pm contests against Felician and Bloomfield.
