LEESBURG, FL.- The College of Saint Rose softball team dropped two tight contests today at The Spring Games. After Saint Rose started the day with a 6-3 extra innings setback to Sioux Falls, the Golden Knights were edged 2-1 by Edinboro in the game two.
In the day's first game, Sioux Falls scored three times in the top of the eighth to break a 3-3 deadlock. The Golden Knights had forced extras by plating three runs in the bottom of the sixth to tie the score.
Freshman
Maddy Bland and sophomore
Nayana DeAmelia provided RBI for Saint Rose in the sixth-inning rally.
Matched up with Edinboro in the afternoon finale, sophomore pitcher
