ALBANY N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose women's lacrosse team came out of the gates hot to earn a 17-4 Northeast-10 Conference win over Saint Michael's today at Sullivan Field.
The Golden Knights jumped out to a ten-goal lead at halftime after owning 10 of the first 11 scores to start the contest.
Freshman midfield
Eliza Barton tallied a team-high four points on two goals and two assists in the win for Saint Rose. Barton led a group of nine different Golden Knights that each finished with two or more points on the day.
Sophomore attack
Lauren Pendergast led all players with three goals, while sophomore midfielder
Katy McPeak, junior attack
Claudia Agostino, junior midfielder
Daria Bock, and freshman midfielder
Emily Robbie also netted a pair of goals each. Senior midfielder
Ashley Burns provided two assists to the Saint Rose attack.

Alex Tapia added solo goals as well to help the Golden Knights earn their first NE10 victory this season.
Saint Rose will next head to Waltham, Mass. to challenge #12 Bentley at 1:00 pm on Saturday. Saint Michael's also returns to action on Saturday at #8 Le Moyne.
