WEST HAVEN, Conn.- The College of Saint Rose women's lacrosse team could not overcome a slow first half in today's Northeast-10 Conference contest versus New Haven, as the host Chargers scored 10 of the first 11 goals of the matchup to establish early control on the way to a 12-7 victory.

Eliza Barton provided Saint Rose solo goals as well, while Barton also led all players with 11 draw controls.
New Haven received four and five goals, respectively, from attacks Raegan Bailey and Savanah Ernst.Â
Both squads will return to action with home NE10 matchups at 3:00 pm on Wednesday. The Golden Knights will welcome Saint Michael's to Albany, while New Haven hosts #5 Le Moyne.
