WALTHAM, Mass.- The College of Saint Rose men's lacrosse team dropped a hard-fought Northeast-10 Conference battle at Bentley University today, with the host Falcons holding on for a 15-13 victory after the Golden Knights battled to overcome a razor-thin Bentley advantage throughout the second half.

Eddie Baker had a game-high five goals to help keep the Golden Knights in the game after falling behind in the first half. Baker would also tally an assist on the day.
After trailing 9-5 at halftime, Saint Rose outscored the Falcons 5-2 across the third quarter to cut the Bentley lead to one. Freshman midfield
Noah Gibson scored two of his four total goals as part of the third-quarter rally.
The Falcons would net the first two goals of the final quarter to go up 13-10, however Baker and senior attack
Cam Smith would combine for back-to-back tucks to once again bring the Golden Knights to within a score with six minutes left.
A strike by junior attack Rawley Scherman had extended the Bentley margin to two goals once again before Gibson ripped a shot from the left side to beat the Falcons goalie with 3:01 remaining.
Falcons junior attack Luke Jaber would seal the win for Bentley with a goal with a minute left on a feed from sophomore attack Conor Segreti.
The Golden Knights are back in action on Wednesday at 4:00 pm when they host the Dominican Chargers at Sullivan Field. Bentley will next face #4 Mercy on the road on Wednesday afternoon.
