CALDWELL, NJ- The College of Saint Rose women's basketball team moved its winning streak to six consecutive games with an 84-45 non-conference victory tonight at Caldwell.
Junior guard
Syrita Faraj scored a game-high 20 points to lead a group of four Golden Knights in double-figures.Â
Sophomore forward
Aniya McDonald-Perry tallied 13 points while also matching a career-best of 15 rebounds. Freshman forward
Jayla Tyler and sophomore guard
Kaelah Carter added 11 points apiece as well for the Golden Knights.
Saint Rose established a big lead early, as the Golden Knights held Caldwell to 2-of-17 (11.7 percent) from the floor in the first quarter. The Golden Knights led 41-14 at the half, with the Cougars only accounting for six made field goals in the first 20 minutes.
The Golden Knights registered season-highs in points (84), field goals (25), three-pointers (10), and made free throws (25) to move to 6-1.
Saint Rose turns around to host Roberts Wesleyan on Monday at 5:30 pm in Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium.
