ALBANY, N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose pulled away from Saint Michael's tonight in Dnaiel P. Nolan Gymnasium, with Saint Rose outscoring the Purple Knights 30-11 in the second half to earn the 59-31 win.
Junior forward
Maddisyn Mahoney had 16 points and seven rebounds to lead the Golden Knights to their fifth consecutive victory.Â
Sophomore guards
Kaelah Carter and
Payton Graber and junior guard
Syrita Faraj were each in double-figures as well for Saint Rose. Carter had 12 points and four rebounds, while Faraj tallied 11 points, seven boards, and three assists. Graber posted 10 points and eight rebounds.
The Golden Knights held Saint Michael's to 11-of-51 shooting (21.6 percent) in addition to recording a 54-26 rebounding advantage.Â
Sophomore
Aniya McDonald-Perry grabbed a game-high 12 boards to give Saint Rose the edge on the glass. McDonald-Perry lead all players with three steals as well.
Saint Rose will look to stay hot with a non-conference matchup at Caldwell on Friday at 5:30 pm.
