RUTHERFORD, NJ- The College of Saint Rose men's basketball team dropped an 86-72 non-conference meeting at Felician this afternoon.
Junior guard
Tristian Jeffries scored a game-high 24 points to go along with seven rebounds to pace the Golden Knights in the setback.
Freshman guard
Dante Weise filled the stats book with 14 points, six rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Weise was efficient from the floor, as the rookie guard was good on 5-of-7 attempts from the floor, as well as 2-of-3 from long range.
The Golden Knights also received nine points from freshman forward
Jabari Phillip Jr. and seven points each from junior forward
Ata Turgut and sophomore guard
Adam Silas. Turgut and freshman guard
Christian Pierre-Louis hauled in six boards apiece.
Felician put four players in double-figures and shot 49.2 percent (31-for-62) as a team in the win. Graduate guard Jaylen Colon led the Golden Falcons with 19 points.
Looking forward, Saint Rose turns around to welcome Franklin Pierce for a Wednesday night matchup in Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium. Tip-off is set for 7:30 pm in the Northeast-10 Conference tilt.
