ALBANY, N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose women's team earned a 4-0 non-conference victory over visiting Bridgeport today on Senior Day at Sullivan Field.
Freshman midfielder
Ashley Kieblesz open the scoring for the Golden Knights a mere 16 seconds after the opening kickoff, as she capped off a scoring sequence that featured assists from freshman midfielder
Sydney Myers and junior forward
Mia Klammer.
Myers and Klammer would each net first-half scores of their own to help Saint Rose take a 3-0 advantage into halftime.Â
Senior defender
Caylee Boorse and Kieblesz would both provide assists on the Klammer goal in the 17th minute, while senior defender
Jada Brown and Klammer recorded helpers on the Myers scoring strike only 80 seconds later.
With today's four-goal output, the Golden Knights have now outscored their opponents by a 30-4 margin in their last seven contests.
Prior to today's match, Saint Rose honored 14 seniors as part of its Senior Day ceremony, with
