ALBANY, N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose women's soccer team blitzed American International for five goals in the first half on the way to a 6-0 Northeast-10 Conference victory tonight at Sullivan Field.
Four different Golden Knights finished with at least one goal and one assist in the victory, with junior forward
Mia Klammer tallying two scores and one assist to lead all players with seven points on the night.
Graduate midfielder
Elina Seppala had a goal and two assists, while senior defender
Sanna Rein and senior midfielder
Lauren Amerena each recording a score and a helper.
The freshman midfielder duo of
Sydney Myers and
Ashley Kieblesz each registered a point apiece as well, with Myers netting a first-half score and Kieblesz providing an assist.
Looking forward, Saint Rose returns to Sullivan Field for Saturday's Senior Day match against Bridgeport. Senior Day festivities are set to begin at 11:30 am followed by a 1:00 pm kickoff in the non-conference matchup. The Yellow Jackets are home as well on Saturday as they host Southern Connecticut State.
