ALBANY, NY- The College of Saint Rose men's basketball team lost 68-57 to the Saint Michaels Purple Knights in Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium tonight.Â
Junior forward
Josh McGettigan came out of the gates on fire as he scored the first 13 points of the game to deliver the Golden Knights an early double-digit lead. McGettigan finished with a game high 24 points on 10-of-18 shooting, including 2-for-3 from behind the arc.Â
After the hot start from McGettigan and the Golden Knights, Saint Michaels would steadily chip away into the early deficit, including a late second quarter spurt that cut the Golden Knight lead to 26-23 at the half.
The Purple Knights would use a big 15-0 scoring run midway through the of the second half to pull away, going 5-for-5 as a team from the floor during the key stretch.

Frankie Phelan finished with a game high eight rebounds, while senior guard
Sean Dadey shared a game high six assists with Saint Michael's guard Darrel Yepdo. Guard CJ Crews led the Purple Knights with 14 points.Â
Saint Rose will be back at home on Saturday at 3:30 PM to host Le Moyne. The Purple Knights will also be back in action Saturday afternoon as they travel to American International.
