COLCHESTER, VT.- Three different members of The College of Saint Rose swimming & diving teams recorded multiple individual victories in today's dual meet at Saint Michael's.Â
On the men's side, sophomore
James Henriques touched the wall first in both the 50-yard freestyle and 100 butterfly with respective times of 21.81 and 53.70 seconds.
Sophomore
Aldemar Alikavazovic also claimed a pair of events, as he took the 100 free (48.75) and 100 breaststroke (59.85).
Sophomores
Nathan Greene and
Maddox Aramani tallied wins as well for Saint Rose, with Greene finishing first in the 1000 free (10:52.2) and Aramini taking the 100 backstroke (57.17).
Henriques, Alikavazovic, and Aramini also teamed with senior
Jacob Steen to win the 200 medley relay in 1:39.42.
Sophomore
Mia Stroub secured victories in both the 100 fly (1:03.45) and 100 back (1:04.59), while sophomore
Gabbie Lupe dashed to the win in the 100 free with a mark of 58.08.
On the boards, sophomore
Emily Ashby tallied a 1-meter dive score of 161.15 to earn first place for the Golden Knight women.
Looking ahead, Saint Rose will next compete at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships, which will be held February 9-13 in Worcester, Mass.
