ALBANY, N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose dropped a Northeast-10 Conference doubleheader this afternoon to visiting Saint Anselm. The Hawks earned both victories by a 4-2 margin to run their winning streak to six consecutive victories.

Ciana Phillips was a hard out in the Golden Knight lineup all afternoon, finishing a combined 4-for-7 with a walk across the two games.

Saint Anselm (13-10/6-2 NE10) sophomore Haile Hicks struck out 11 in the opener to improve her record to 11-2 in the circle.
In the day's second game, the Hawks plated three unearned runs in the fifth to flip a 2-1 deficit into a 4-2 advantage.
Saint Rose had staked the 2-1 lead in the early innings, manufacturing a run in the bottom of the first, followed by a run-scoring single by freshman right fielder
Camryn O'Hara in the second.Â
Making her first start of the spring for the Golden Knights, O'Hara tallied two hits in three trips to the plate. Sophomore second basemen
Alexandra Deeter added a pair of extra base hits to the Saint Rose offense in game-two as well.

Hannah Breen post another strong start in the circle for the Golden Knights (7-18/3-5 NE10), allowing only six baserunners in the finale.Â
Up next, the Golden Knights travel to New Haven for a doubleheader on Saturday in New Haven, Conn. Saint Anselm returns to action at home against Bentley on Wednesday afternoon.
