NEW HAVEN, Conn.- The College of Saint Rose was edged today at Southern Connecticut State, with the Owls utilizing a second-half rally to earn the Northeast-10 Conference victory by the score of 12-9.
A tightly fought first half ended with Southern Connecticut State holding a 6-5 advantage. Five different players tallied a goal for Saint Rose in the opening two quarters, beginning with freshman attack

Southern Connecticut State took control of the contest with five consecutive scores netted between the closing moments of the second period through the early stages of the fourth, a span in which the Owl lead ballooned from 6-5 to 10-5.

Claudia Agostino all scored within a two-minute period to cut the margin to 10-8 with 9:04 left. However, that would be the closest the Golden Knights could reach in the second half.
Ciliento added a strike late in the fourth period to lead Saint Rose (7-8/3-8 NE10) with two goals on the day.
Senior attack Karlie Rowe topped Southern Connecticut State (4-10/3-8 NE10) with four goals, while senior attack Bayleigh Takacs and sophomore attack Savannah Feinberg each found the back of the net three times.
Moving forward, both squads return to Northeast-10 Conference action on Wednesday. The Golden Knights will be in Springfield, Mass. to face American International at 7:00 pm, while Southern Connecticut State welcomes #9 Le Moyne for a 2:00 pm tilt.
Notes: Bock leads the Golden Knights in goals (29), assists (19), and draw controls (76)…She has scored in 12 of the team's 15 games this season, in addition to ranking 14th in the league with 48 points.
