RINDGE, N.H.- The College of Saint Rose split a doubleheader this afternoon at Franklin Pierce. The Golden Knights rebounded to claim a 5-1 victory in the day's second game after the host Ravens won the opener 12-0.

Savanna Liverio-Tyler each knocked in first-inning runs to stake the Golden Knights to a 2-0 lead in the finale. Tyrrell doubled home sophomore center fielder
Ciana Phillips and later came around to score on a single to right field by Liverio-Tyler.
Saint Rose extended the advantage with a three-run third inning, beginning with an RBI double by Liverio-Tyler that scored Tyrrell. The Golden Knights added two more runs in the frame with a bases-loaded walk to sophomore second basemen

Madison Chandler each went 3-for-4, while Liverio-Tyler finished with two hits and a pair of RBI in the game two victory.
Freshman pitcher
Hannah Breen scattered five hits across 7.0 innings to earn the win in the circle for Saint Rose (12-25/8-12 NE10).
Sophomore center fielder Melissa Konopinski went 3-for-5 with four RBI and two runs scored between the two games for Franklin Pierce (24-6/12-6 NE10).
Looking ahead, the Golden Knights wrap the weekend with a pair against Saint Michael's tomorrow in Colchester, VT. Franklin Pierce stays home to welcome Le Moyne for a series on Sunday afternoon.
