ALBANY, N.Y. – Defending national champion and #2 ranked Le Moyne scored nine unanswered goals in the first quarter on the way to today's 21-7 victory against The College of Saint Rose in Northeast-10 Conference action on Sullivan Field at The Plumeri Sports Complex.

Anthony Barone combined for five goals to lead the Golden Knights (7-8/2-6 NE10). Fifth-year midfielder

Meanwhile, 11 players found the back of the cage for the Dolphins (12-1/8-0 NE10), who entered the game 11th in the nation in scoring defense (7.58).

Senior attack Kevin Sheehan and senior midfielder John Bergen led the Le Moyne offense with three goals and two assists apiece.

Looking ahead, both squads have road conference dates Saturday. The Golden Knights head to Pleasantville for a 7:00 pm clash at Pace University, while the Dolphins travel to Rindge, N.H. for a noon meeting at Franklin Pierce.
