WINTER HAVEN, FLA.- The College of Saint Rose fell today against West Virginia Wesleyan at THE Spring Games, with the Bobcats bundling all their scoring into two big innings to earn the 9-1 victory.Â

The advantage would hold until the bottom of the third when West Virginia Wesleyan plated four runs, with a two-run home run by freshman infielder Morgan Norris boosting the rally. The Bobcats (6-4) added five more runs in the sixth to reach the winning margin.
West Virginia Wesleyan junior pitcher Abigail O'Shields claimed the victory in the circle after giving up just two hits in 6.0 innings.
The second game of the afternoon for the Golden Knights versus the College of Staten Island was postponed due to weather.
Saint Rose wraps play in Florida tomorrow afternoon with match-ups against Notre Dame College (Ohio) at 1:30 pm and Clarion at 4:45 pm, in addition to its date with CSI.
