SYRACUSE, N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose swimming & diving teams were at Le Moyne today to challenge the Dolphins in a dual meet competition.
Sophomore
Mia Stroub claimed two wins and junior
Brenna Hayes took a victory for the Saint Rose women on the afternoon. Stroub earned first place in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:02.34 and the 400 individual medley in 5:01.92.Â
Hayes finished first in the 100 breaststroke in 1:13.37, in addition to taking runner-up behind Stroub in the 400 IM. Sophomore
Nickolette Nesci touched a spot after Hayes to place second in the 100 breast with a time of 1:15.18.
On the men's side, sophomore
Aldemar Alikavazovic posted 1:02.07 to take first in the 100 breast. Alikavazovic also earned second in the 50 freestyle in 22.55 seconds.
Sophomores
James Henriques (55.35 seconds) and
Nathan Greene (56.10) dashed for second and third in the 100 fly, while Henriques took another second place finish in the 200 free with a mark of 1:53.55.
Sophomore Maddox Aramini showed his versatility by claiming second in both the 100 back (58.16) and 400 IM (4:47.85).
Next up, the Golden Knights return to the water at the College of Staten Island Invitational on Friday, December 2 and Saturday, December 3.Â
